First Act offer drama tuition for children and young adults across the North West. The name First Act derives from the idea of developing younger children's theatre skills at the start of their performance careers.
The branding needed to have a youthful vibe and be transferable between web and print and also work well on merchandise such as T-shirts & hoodies. The identity was inspired by 1950s cinema listings and kitsch 'on air' light boxes. Two variants of the logo were created: a detailed, polished version for use predominantly on the web and a minimal stencil-like version for printed literature and branded apparel.
