When a local chocolatier asked me to design her new business branding I was more than happy to take on the brief – how could I refuse an opportunity to combine two of my favourite things – design and chocolate?!
The brief was to create simple, elegant branding evoking a sense of luxury and promoting the handmade quality of the product. This was then carried through into business stationery and menus. Photography for the menus was produced in-house (I resisted the temptation to eat them all pre-shoot!) and the design retained a simple elegance, with a sense of tradition, incorporating the hand drawn heart from the logo.
